Time for some organisation,

Happy new week everyone, I hope you had a lovely weekend and having a great start. Being organised has never been my strong suit, but after having kids, all that had to change and figuring out what works for me and how to make everything functional at home became a priority, I am no expert and not perfect at all but I managed to find what works for me so here are 6 useful tips to start getting organised at home. If you are having problems coming up with blog posts, then do stop by here.

6 USEFUL TIPS TO START GETTING ORGANISED AT HOME

1. DECLUTTER

The first thing is to declutter and clear out all the mess in every room that never seems to be of any use. Some of the things may be years old and removing that stuff does create more space. Plus it shows you that some of the things you had were not that necessary and were due to impulse buying, more about that here.

2. DESIGNATE AREAS

Once you have decluttered all your rooms and removed all the unwanted stuff, make sure you designate areas for everything. From clothes, to detergents and dishes, everything needs to have its place.

3. A CHORE LIST

This right here has been my saving grace, before having a chore list, I used to just wake up and decide that today I will vacuum or wash the towels or change the sheets. But after a while you tend to forget when you did what so coming up with a chore list will be your safest bet on staying organised.

4. MEAL PLANNING

I used to cook anything that came to mind according to what ingredients I had available but that quickly changed when it all became to cumbersome and I now have a menu pasted on the refrigerator which not only makes cooking easier, but doing grocery shopping is now a breeze since I know what I need and what requires repurchasing, to know more on saving money, check out this post  here.

5. CREATE A ROUTINE FOR YOURSELF

A routine makes you feel at ease and you end up getting things done much faster. It is a lifesaver without feeling all controlled. Make your life easier with this planner right here.

6. TIME MANAGEMENT

After having to do school runs with a baby every single day, time management has really kept me sane. I am not saying that you track every single minute of your day but just try to manage your time wisely because you can easily get distracted.

There you go my people, 6 useful tips that will definitely help you to start getting organised at home. If you have any other ideas, I am here to hear them, do so in the comments below. In case you missed my previous posts, do stop by  here and here give them a whirl. Until next time, see yah.

Loving it!
