GARLIC, GINGER AND HERB CRUSTED LAMB CHOPS

GARLIC, GINGER AND HERB CRUSTED LAMB CHOPS

Hi all,

Am I the only one who thinks that January is taking forever to end? Like seriously it’s taking so long maybe I am just getting paranoid. Anyway, I hope you all had a fabulous weekend and are doing fine. This post today is just a quick recipe for some delicious garlic, ginger and herb crusted lamb chops. I love lamb and anytime I get to have it, I make sure to add a bit more to enhance the flavours, plus I eat mine with spring onions (I know I am that weird). If you liked my orange glazed chicken wings, then this will definitely be right up your alley too. You will need;

GARLIC, GINGER AND HERB CRUSTED LAMB CHOPS

Ingredients

  • Lamb chops
  • 3 crushed garlic cloves
  • A thumb of ginger crushed
  • 2 Tbs olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • A tablespoon mixed herbs

METHOD

  • In a bowl, mix in your garlic, ginger, olive oil, herbs and salt.
  • Then in another bowl or tray, take your lamb chops and pat them dry using kitchen towels to remove any moisture.
  • Take your herb mixture and slather on the lamb chops evenly making sure to coat each and everyone of them.
  • Cover with cling film and refrigerate to marinate for 2 to 3 hours tops.
  • Once ready, remove from the fridge and let it reach room temperature.
  • In a heated pan, start pan frying your lamb chops, remember you don’t need to add any additional oil since it was marinating in some.
  • Pan fry them in one layer turning them every five minutes, ensuring they are evenly browned and form a lovely crust.
  • Depending on how you like your meat, then you get to cook it to your liking. I love mine well done so I leave them cook for quite some time.
  • Once done, remove from the heat, let them rest.
  • Serve and enjoy.
