Happy New Month,
Yes December is here, I still can’t believe how this year has flown by but I guess it’s only me who thinks that. Anyway how was your weekend? I hope you had a great one and that you took advantage of Black Friday. Now that the season is beginning to look a little bit more festive, I am back today with a post on gift guide ideas for the cook in you. You don’t really have to be a great one but so long as you can whip up something in the kitchen or just use it once in a while then this will definitely apply to you too.
In the beginning of the year, I gave you new year new ways to cook and also accessories to help you achieve your weight loss goals. So since that included mostly cooking equipment which most of you already have, I decided to focus more on unique things for the cook in you. So, here we go
1. FOOD HUGGER
You know when you need half a fruit or half a jar of something and you don’t want to throw away the rest, then these food huggers are the best gift to give someone.
2. OIL INFUSER
This is another great gift guide for the cook in you, perfect for infusing your oils and give them a good and flavourful result. It tracks measurements and has a press button to begin infusion.
3. 5 BLADE SCISSORS
Now I think you could use this to shred anything with but I think it’s perfect for cutting fresh herbs to finish off your meal or even adding them to your salads plus it’s faster too instead of using a cutting board. I know any cook would love to receive this gift.
4. ADJUSTABLE ROLLING PIN
How cool is this, an adjustable rolling pin to help you with your creative side, be it in pastry, cake decorating and dough rolling.
5. COOK BOOK HOLDER STAND
Have you ever tried to keep a page open when you’re trying to follow a recipe? I know I have used the wall, a spoon and the best is the finger. Well no need to worry about that anymore because this stand is the perfect gift for the cook in you.
6. TACO HOLDERS
Did anybody say taco Tuesday? Well this one is definitely a great one. Taco holders to help you with assembling your delicious tacos and not worrying about them breaking apart or falling over. The best thing about this one is that you can put it in the oven if you want to melt your taco cheese.
7. SLIDE OUT CHEESE BOARD
I love me a great cheese board and this one right here is a slide out one with a knife set too. Perfect gift for the cook in you and has a wow factor and will definitely help you entertain in style.
8. BBQ SKEWERS
This is definitely another great gift for the cook in you are these bbq skewers, comes in a set of 24 and perfect for when the hot months check in and a great bbq is planned. Use with meat or veggies and they are lightweight too.
9. PERSONALISED APRONS
Now to make it even more personal and thoughtful, personalised aprons are the way to go, you can either make it funny or have a great message on there. I use aprons when I am dealing with flour because if not then I end up looking like casper during my baking adventures.
10. PERSONALISED CHOPPING BOARD
Lastly, comes the personalised chopping board. I love this idea since you can pass it on from generation to generation depending on what’s written on it and makes it more personal and memorable. How can this not be a good gift for the cook in you? Personally I love it.
There you go lovely people, gift guide ideas for the cook in you. I hope you do like them as much as I do and do check out my previous gift guide for housewarming ideas. Oh my. Such wonderful gifts! My sisters and I love to cook and these would really make us happy. I could use that herb scissors and taco holder! I will let my sisters know about this list. I know they’d be happy to get some of these for their kitchen too.
Thank you.
That’s an interesting gift guide! Cooking is a popular hobby & also essential in life. Cooking with your health in mind, using the right type of accessories is truly important.
Great selections of gifts! I absolutely love cooking and find my cooking book stand one of the best presents I was ever given 🙂
I would appreciate the taco holders and the cookbook stand. I’m normally using recipes from two cookbooks I have on weekends and that would really come in handy. It can be so tiring to hold it or stretch out to read the next cooking step.
I need to add that oil infuser to my list. I would use that daily! Awesome idea!
Great ideas! My boyfriend is the chef in our house and he would love every single one of these gifts.
Great guide! I didn’t know that adjustable rolling pins were a thing! I love the scissors – I have a pair that cut meat and vegetables and they’re so handy.
The cook in me loves all of them and I would not mind treating myself with them. Buying kitchen gadgets is my guilty pleasure.
