We all want clear skin
Having flawless skin is what every woman wants to see every time they pass-by a mirror or their reflection. We all want clear, beautiful, and perfect looking skin, not only for it to look good under makeup but to have that confidence when you don’t have time to put on makeup or not in the mood. Here are some tips you can follow on how to get clear skin.
1. DIET
Everyone nowadays follows a particular diet, or a meal plan of some sort, either way you should eat for the nutrients in the food instead of for the fun of it. I am not going to tell you that you have to be vegan, vegetarian or anything else, I’m saying reduce the junk and eat real food simple as that. To get clear skin you have to start from the inside for the outside to show.
2. DRINK WATER
We’ve all heard about this before, water is good for not only your body but also for your skin. Dehydration causes your skin to look dull and tired so drink more water and help your skin reap the benefits. Make sure that you are hydrated at all times for you to achieve clear skin.
3.KNOW YOUR SKIN TYPE
Everybody has different skin types from oily, combination, acne prone and dry. To maintain clear skin, you need to be able to get the right kind of products for your skin to agree with and to also keep up with changes that your skin goes through with changes of seasons and the weather. To read more on my top beauty products go here. Once you know your skin type, getting clear skin becomes easier because you use products that are meant for you.
4. AVOID TOUCHING YOUR FACE
We use our hands all the time every day and once in a while you forget and maybe wipe your face without knowing it but the more you touch your face, you cause those breakouts you keep on complaining about. If you need to touch your face, use the back of your hand and just avoid touching your face all the time and your skin will start clearing up.
5. AVOID/REDUCE SUGARS
I should have put this in the diet part but I avoided it because sugars come in many forms. I am talking about refined sugars which most of us use every day and also in sodas and other drinks. If you can just stop or try and reduce them then your skin will really improve and all those nasty breakouts that sugar can cause will clear out leaving you with flawless skin.
6. WASH YOUR FACE BEFORE YOU SLEEP
This is by far the most important because our skin goes through a lot the whole day from the makeup we put on to the environment, just make sure to always wash your face before you go to bed and follow up with your night time routine,to see my skincare routine go here. This gives your skin time to breathe and if you can be able to have some days where you don’t put makeup on, it would also allow your skin to recuperate.
So these are my tips on getting clear skin and I hope you do give them a go, to see more tips go here and if you have any other ones you would like to tell me about and share, please do tell in the comments below.

I am definitely guilty of doing two of these. One is touching my face and the other is my addiction to sweet food. Will keep working on it. Thanks for the tips.
It’s hard when it has become a habit but becomes easier after practice. Thank you and you’re welcome.
Great tips here! I quit drinking diet soda about 6 months ago and have switched to just water and it has made a huge difference to my skin. It’s tough but worth it!
Really does help.
I need to remember these! I try to drink a lot of water to help. But I can’t give up my soda since it’s what helps keep me friendly.
Soda is really addictive, I understand it can be hard to let go.
I have a horrible diet, and I know thats why I break out so much! I really need to drink more water and eat a little better
These are all things that I knew affected your face. I thankfully was blessed with great genetics. However, my daughters were not, and they have had their fair share of breakouts. I have always pushed all of this when they are complaining about their pimples.
Great tips to get and keep clear skin. Diet plays a lot into how healthy our skin is I’ve been working on my diet lately.
I totally need all these tips, I don’t remember a time when I did have clear skin, I started getting spots very early and hey still have them now.
You are right, that water is a key to great skin. My church just had a fast (I can talk about it now that its over! hehe), and we were only allowed to drink water; no other beverages. Although I was severely craving coffee, I could not help but to notice that my skin is looking very dewy and radiant as a result! I am also going to work on washing my face before bed as well.
Incredible tips, I am blessed with good skin but I will practice these tips {except the sugar} to keep it looking young and clear
Sugars are what cause me to have breakouts. After eating a sinfully rich chocolate ice cream dessert, I regret it the next day haha.
I’m really bad when it comes to not touching my face I promise I’ll work through that.

Thank you for this post. I have been wondering where to begin and this has been really helpful. I really need to work on my water intake. I have already started on my diet and the sugars. Saving your post for a constant reminder.
It’s simple! Don’t touch your face to avoid contamination. Also, drink lots of water so you’ll stay hydrated and fresh.
These are some really great tips. I like my shin clear and not touching face and drinking water are my daily routine. Now I have to adopt the rest.
I trust diet and regular water consumption to do the work because these are the only things that require less efforts.
I need to share all of these tips with my daughter. She’s always had a problem with acne even as an adult. It’s not noticeable to me but it is to her. I think changing her diet is a good place to start.
Great tips! I need to incorporate a good routine and get some good products as well. This is good stuff…thanks!
These are some great tips… I am definitely gonna follow these ☺️??
i read an article on how to reduce pimples before this. this one helps me more.
Reducing my sugar would probably help a ton but that seems so hard to do. Maybe one day! lol
