Hello everyone, I hope you all had a great Christmas and are ready for the new year. I know some of you may still be recovering from the Christmas mood but as for me I’m already looking at the new year so I decided to come on here with the last post of 2017 and just have some few last words before getting ready for 2018. Apart from wishing you all the best in 2018, we have to remind ourselves that whether this year was a good or bad one, we at least survived it and are lucky to be able to reach this point and pray for a better new year to come.
What about New Year resolutions?
Every end of year, I try to write down what my plans will be and what I intend to achieve and set goals for the year to come, but what happens every time is that I end up achieving a quarter of what I wrote and the rest just disappear without any trial. So for the coming year of 2018, I have decided to change all that and not write anything, I know it’s going to be hard because I love having schedules and being as organised as possible but I did that this year and never really finished my “so called list”. I have decided to try a different approach and just let the universe guide me through my goals and wishes and I may just achieve what I want.
How will I do it?
I know some of you may be wondering how in the world would I achieve what I want without having goals set and all but you have to remember that you have always been intending what you want whether it’s verbally or emotionally and the universe responds to that, you really do create your own reality and that’s why we have to be careful what we say to others or what we think because thoughts do become things whether we like it or not. It’s all about law of attraction and if you haven’t read or heard all about that by now, I suggest you do and turn your life around. It’s time to make your life amazing and just how you want it. So, yes I am letting the universe guide me and I will follow my impulses as they come.
Final thoughts,
All in all, 2017 has been an average year for me and I pray for a perfect one to come. My blog managed to reach one year and that was an achievement for me and I thank you all who have been reading and commenting on my posts all this time, if you missed my post on the lessons I learnt, do check it out here. As for the year to come, the universe has my back and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for me. So, I am wishing you all a Happy New Year and a Prosperous 2018. See you next year XOXO.

Happy New Year, Joan.
Thank you and Happy New Year to you too.
I think this is a great plan! For me I’m just making a small list of achievable goals. And then just take it one day at a time from there.
Great, we have to try what works best for us, wishing you all the best.
I like you new idea of not writing it down. Please let us know how is goes. Really interested in how it works out 🙂
While I’m very passionate about growth and self-improvement, I’m not big on resolutions. They seem so all or nothing. I love the idea of the universe guiding you. Wishing you a happy 2018 and a great start to the new year!
Thank you very much.
I like to write things down on my resolution, pretty much like you in the past few years. And also like you, what usually happens so far is that i’ve only achieved a quarter of it. but then i like to track things down on what i wanted and what i have done. that way, i’ve got somewhat this illusion that i’ve actually done something. 😛 cheers!
merry Christmas and a happy new year, I hope you have a really good start and it continues from there. this coming year, I have set myself a hard test of accepting and welcoming criticism! this something we all get from time to time but I struggle with at time to see that we need it to improve.
Thank you very much, sometimes we need accept some of the backlash we receive in order to improve and be stronger, you can do this don’t worry.
Happy 2018 to you! I rarely make resolutions. I always try to be a better person and grow my blog, and that’s basically all I’ll state!
Good one we will just hope for the best.
I like how you have a different approach to welcome 2018. It is being flexible and being motivational at the same time. Sometimes a traditional way does not help to carry out the tasks. A change might make it great. Happy New Year to you!
happy new year to you too and as for resolutions, i don’t have any but i have continuous goals including improving my blog and having a full knee recovery!
Happy New year and good luck to you.
Happy new year to you too. I’m so with you about the law of attraction and agree that you don’t really have to make resolutions since you’re putting your intentions out there all the time. Here’s to a happy, healthy, productive 2018!
